Try as hard as I might to come up with something relative to the scope of what's happened to the Gulf Coast in the wake of Katrina and Deepwater Horizon, I fail. There is nothing I can say or do that can encompass the magnitude of the losses and heartache that have been and are being suffered by my fellow citizens and neighbors in the South.
My heart goes out to them. My heart breaks for what this says about America as a nation. All I can do is try to help their voices keep reaching out.
