Heartbreaker: Where's The Media Now?

After reading "18 Months After Katrina" posted below, I find it amazing that I see NOTHING about the Gulf Coast recovery status and efforts on TV.

What the HELL is this? State run televison? Not a word, not a peep? Silence on the radio, just celebrity static? Not a newsprint story nor a column?

What, did the Southermost portion of the United States just disappear into the twilight zone?

While Bushwack and the Wingnuts are busy spending over a trillion dollars to commit mayhem in a foreign country or two or twenty, the Gulf Coast is still having to wear hip-waders to make it through the bullshit this is.

Thank God for the volunteers and ordinary citizens trying to help, but where the hell is the government and the media?

Piss on Anna Nichole Smith's funerary wierdfest. I could care less who Brad is laying this year. I don't need another damn celebrity glitz bomb while the whole Gulf Coast is trying to recover from being as close to nuked as you can get without craters and radiation.

This sucks. If you want to talk about un-American and un-patriotic, letting this gaping, gushing wound in our national character fester and turn gangrenous with nary a word is not only the poster child for anti-American, it is the poster child's entire geneaology and future progeny combined.

The silence off the internet is both deafening and utterly disgusting. Coporate, snooty, nasty pukes.

Heartbreakers are only a product of the heartless.

Dan
